Firstly, on the Mother Eel myspace, there’s been photos posted in the AJ’s Last Tour album. These were taken at both gigs, some from the blisteringly intense set Above The Spanish, by Fiona McDonald and others from the Under The Southern Cross II gig at the Sando, which were taken by Michael Bros. Thanks guys!
Secondly, Andrew Pittman has posted some photos up on Voltage Media, these photos were taken at the Under The Southern Cross II gig as well. Nice colour, not much AJ.

Nothing else matters. An open mind for a different view. Kind of like nights in white satin.
This is the first of a couple of gigs Mother Eel are squeezing in before they lose their drummer (who is relocating to Hong Kong). Mother Eel isn’t going away, but this could be the last chance to see them in a while. Playing with the infamous Grannyfist and TheDownGoing, right in the center of Sydney, top floor, Liverpool Street (see above), and it’s only a gold coin “donation” to enter. We are guessing it will be a chaotic affair, and it should be LOUD. Mother Eel will be performing some new songs and of course feature Lucas Darklord’s human offsider Brother Agony and his crotchmounted death engine and nailed muzzle microphone for those extra teeth chipping screams. (check out the Mother Eel rehearsals recently posted on the CDG archive if you’d like a taster.. a very raw and early taster) We expect to see you all there! Especially those of you overseas. Come on, China and Korea are but a hop-skip-jump away. Mother Eel, featuring Brother Agony performing vocals, noise and pointless excess, are playing in Sydney Australia on the 22nd of August, at the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown. It’s a night of Metal people. We can’t know how you judge things, but we’ll say it’s a deathy/thrashy/super heavy affair. This is likely to be your one and only chance to see Mother Eel and our good friend Brother Agony this year. Don’t miss it. Oh, why would you come? Well, come for the great live music, and come for the spectacle of Brother Agony and his crotch mounted joystick noise and vocal processor.. of course all officially sanctioned by Crypt Designers Guild.  Don't miss it See? Only $10- One of the bands has dropped out. Can’t remember which one, but it’s maybe because they were the one band you didn’t need to see anyway.  Member, get it? Kids these days.
